The name Grammy Di is the name of a beautiful grandmother with southern roots on her father’s side that enables her membership into both The Daughters of the American Revolution and Daughters of the Confederacy. Her mother’s roots originated from English parents, born in Africa and raised in Australia. She married a U.S. soldier during World War II transporting her to East Tennessee. Their marriage produced one daughter-Diane. You now have the picture where the word Grammy comes and Di is short for Diane.
